Raising a Husband was a sort of male version of the Queen For A Day show. The weekly half hour interview program for men only aired as a sustaining presentation of the Mutual network beginning in December of 1945.

The men were questioned in order to select the raised husband of the week and award the winner a shower of gifts.

The show's emcee was Irene Beasley. The piano and organ duo of Bob Downey and John Gart entertained with interludes of music and song. The announcer was Dwight Weist.

Raising a Husband left the air at the conclusion of the 1947 season.
