Actress Janet Logan turned her talents to poetry readings on the Music and the Muse radio series. Providing the mood music were harpist Katherine Juleuz, cellist Ray Kramer, violinist Thomas Manchini, and organist William Sobransky.

The weekly thirty minute program was broadcast over the NBC network during the 1949-50 season.
