Richman was a showman, a crooner of '30s-style ballads and novelties. He was also syndicated on behalf of "your local Dodge dealer" (ca. 1936-37) and by the state of Florida for its orange and grapefruit growers (1937-38). The latter show, It's Florida's treat, featured the music of Freddie Rich and such guests as Cliff Edwards and Lee Wiley. The theme was I Love a Parade.John Dunning
