Columbia Presents Shakespeare was broadcast from CBS's Hollywood studios, and attracted some of the movie colony's best talent, including Edward G. Robinson, Humphrey Bogart, Tallulah Bankhead, Orson Welles, Miss Frieda Inescourt, Hans Conried, John Barrymore and many others.
