Consider Your Verdict was a unique courtroom drama serial. Each episode took place in a courtroom and the listening audience was the jury. The program ran nearly thirty years, and was successful because it was such a believable program. This was in part because actors were given brief outlines of the their character and the plot, and then ad-libbed as they were asked questions by scripted lawyers.
