On March 16, 1943, SUSPENSE presented "Cabin B-13", a radio play written by John Dickson Carr, the creator of Dr. Gideon Fell, Sir Henrey Merrivale and Henri Bencolin and a master of locked-room mysteries. It aired a second time on November 9, 1943. Mr. Carr also narrated and hosted the MURDER BY EXPERTS series.

"Cabin B-13" was spun off into a series of the same name. CABIN B-13 featured stories of impossible crimes, a Carr signature. It starring Arnold Moss as Dr. Fabian, ship's doctor on a luxury liner. The 30-minute shows aired Mondays from 8:30 to 9:00 PM on CBS stations.
